About Us

With over 30 years of building experience, Bergman Builders, Inc. is committed to providing quality, custom homes in the Stevens Point area. Kurt and Stacy Bergman purchased Bergman Builders from Kurt's parents, Edward and Carolyn Bergman, who remain active in the business by working part time for Kurt in their retirement. After graduating from UW-Stevens Point with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Environmental Design in 1989, Kurt started full time employment with Bergman Builders. Kurt has continued to work in the home building business ever since. Kurt and Stacy live in Stevens Point and have two children, Brooke and Jeremy.

In addition to providing quality housing in the Stevens Point Area, Bergman Builders is also committed to the community through its volunteer activities. One of its most recent projects was the construction of a playground shelter at McDill School. With the help of some very generous subcontractors, the shelter was built at almost no cost to the school. Bergman Builders is also proud to sponsor a soccer team each year through the Portage County Youth Soccer organization, serving over 700 children in Portage County.
